Administration to Help Ensure Food Safety for Animals

US - The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a proposed rule under the FDA Food Safety Modernisation Act (FSMA) in an effort to improve food safety for animals. The proposed regulation would help prevent foodborne illness in both animals and people and is open for public comments for 120 days.
