Based on Ericsson 3E FRIDA II platform and Ericsson Energy and Performance Optimizer firmware, digitally controlled BMR4560004/018 High-Cap Converter is aimed at hard-disk applications that operate with capacitive loads up to 15 mF. Embedded voltage-mode-control algorithm maintains output voltage between 11.88–12.12 V and accurately controls 20 ms ramp-up time. Featuring 420 W output power and flat efficiency of 96% from low to high load, converter sustains I/O isolation voltage of 2,250 Vdc.
