Area experts say jobs in the agriculture industry will open up in Northern New York and across the country, but more college graduates will be needed to fill them. Nearly 60,000 jobs are projected to open in agriculture, food and natural resource industries each year for the next five years in the U.S. for graduates with at least a bachelor's degree in those areas, according to a report from the U.S. Department of Agriculture and Purdue University.
