Combining alarm trip and temperature transmitter, Model SPA2IS includes built-in intrinsically safe field connections for current/voltage, RTDs, and thermocouples. Unit provides on/off control, warns of unwanted process conditions, alarms on rate of change, and performs emergency shutdowns. Powered by universal AC/DC power supply, SPA2IS features 20-bit input resolution and provides dual/quad independent alarm relay outputs when monitored process variable falls outside of user-set limits.
