Alcatel sells federal technology unit for US$200 million

As a partner company under private owners, the former Bell Labs team says it will be able to go after more markets LGS Innovations, a company formed during the Alcatel-Lucent merger to supply technology to the U.S. government, has been sold to a pair of U.S.-based investment companies for about US$200 million.
