As community-based approach to manufacturing education, PRIME (Partnership Response In Manufacturing Education) received supporting pledge of $220,000 from Alcoa Foundation. PRIME is part of SME Education Foundation's commitment to addressing shortage of advanced manufacturing and technical talent in USA. This funding will continue to support PRIME programs at Esperanza High School (Anaheim, CA) and Hawthorne High School (Los Angeles, CA) as well as 2 others schools in Southern California.
