Altria And Philip Morris International: Made For Each Other?

There has been some talk that Altria may bid to acquire Philip Morris International, although there has also been some cold water thrown on the idea. The deal would make sense and the AB InBev/SABMiller deal would provide the means to go forward with it, since Altria owns 27.1% of SABMiller.
