The potential acquisition of SABMiller by Anheuser-Busch InBev will most likely determine Altria's way forward in the next weeks. Altria shares have been more or less climbing steadily since the beginning of 2014, with the exception of a phase of weakness in spring this year, which culminated in a decline of nearly 15% from the earlier March high.
