Amazon Prime Video reaches first pay-TV distribution deal with Comcast

(Telecompaper) Comcast and Amazon entered into an agreement to launch Prime Video on Comcast's Xfinity X1. The deal gives Xfinity TV customers access to thousands of additional premium shows and movies over the internet and marks the first time Amazon Prime Video content would be integrated on a traditional pay-TV platform in the US.
