Fueled by a spike in U.S. customer demand, Seattle-based Amazon.com Inc. is adding more than 6,000 full-time jobs across the country, including hundreds of new jobs at fulfillment centers in Kentucky and Indiana. Nina Lindsey , a spokeswoman for Amazon, said the company intends to add 500 full-time jobs at its fulfillment center in Jeffersonville's River Ridge Commerce Center and another 100 full-time jobs at its fulfillment center in Lexington, Ky.
