(Telecompaper) Amazon has introduced a new version of the Kindle Paperwhite that features new display technology with higher contrast, built-in light, a faster processor and the latest touch technology. Kindle Paperwhite is currently available for pre-order online and begins shipping on 30 September. The new device comes with new Kindle Page Flip, new Goodreads integration, new Kindle FreeTime, new Vocabulary Builder, new Smart Lookup, new In-line Footnotes and new Kindle MatchBook. The Goodreads and Free time features will be delivered later in 2013 as part of a free software update. In addition, the new Kindle Paperwhite also features a no-glare display, eight weeks of battery life, built-in Wi-Fi and free 3G, more than 400,000 books exclusive to the Kindle Store, and the ability to carry over a thousand books. The new Kindle Paperwhite is available for USD 119 and the new Kindle Paperwhite Wi-Fi + 3G is available for USD 189. Kindle Paperwhite Wi-Fi + 3G is expected to ship from 5 November.
