(Telecompaper) Amazon has started offering customers a standalone subscription to its video streaming service. To date the streaming service has only been available when subscribing to Amazon Prime, the company's free delivery service, at USD 99 per year or USD 10.99 per month. Customers can now pay USD 8.99 per month to have just the streaming video service, without all the other extras included with Prime, such as free two-day delivery for Amazon purchases, streaming music and e-books.
