American Wind Energy Association Names Tom Kiernan CEO

American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) Board of Directors, via unanimous vote, announced that Tom Kiernan has been named as Chief Executive Officer. Kiernan has served as President of the National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) since 1998 and will assume his new role on May 28. In comment, AWEA Board of Directors Chair Tom Carnahan praised Kiernan's "bipartisan, practical experience at the national and state levels as well as in small, rural communities."
