Amtrak seeks investigation of Canadian National over routes through C-U

Amtrak is seeking an investigation of the Canadian National Railway for what it called "consistently substandard" service on Amtrak's Illini/Saluki trains over the Canadian National tracks through Champaign-Urbana. Amtrak filed an amended complaint with the Surface Transportation Board, charging that the on-time performance of the Illini/Saluki service was 49 percent for the quarter that ended June 30, following a first quarter performance of 42 percent.
