Another 60,000 tumble dryers in fire risk alert as Whirpool admit two more brands 'faulty'

It came as Commons business committee chair Iain Wright MP said it had "flagged up concerns" and could summon Whirlpool's boss if they get no answers. Whirlpool said 17,000 Swan dryers sold since late 2014 and 41,000 Proline machines sold between 2004 and 2005 had the fault which may cause fluff to catch fire on the heating element.
