Construction consists of 0.125 in. thick fire retardant fiberglass (FRP) coated with blend of mineral abrasive epoxy grit. Step covers come in 3, 9, and 11.75 in. depths. While 3 and 9 in. covers have 1 in. nose, 11.75 in. version has 2 in. nose. Several grit-coating options are available.
