(Telecompaper) Apple will bring its iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus to China on 17 October. The phone will be available on China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom. Pre-orders will being on 10 October. Customers can start reserving their devices for in-store pick-up in 14 October. The iPhone 6 will be available in gold, silver or space gray for a suggested retail price of CNY 5,288 for the 16GB model, CNY 6,088 for the 64GB model and CNY 6,888 for a new 128 GB model. The iPhone 6 Plus will come in gold, silver or space gray and carry a suggested retail price of CNY 6,088 for the 16GB model, CNY 6,888 for the 64GB model and CNY 7,788 for the new 128 GB model. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology posted an update on its website, saying that it had licensed the device for use on China's mobile networks, Reuters reported on its Chinese language site. Prices for the devices have plummeted on the black market in China, in anticipation of the imminent approval.
