Arizona sues General Motors for fraud over recalls

Arizona's attorney general, Thomas Horne , has sued General Motors over the carmaker's string of recalls, saying customers in that state had been defrauded to the tune of $3 billion. New York Times explained that the move splits Arizona from 47 other state attorneys general that had been cooperating on an investigation into GM's troubles addressing an ignition-switch defect in some of its cars.
