By integrating directly with NOTIFIER fire alarm systems, intelligent FAAST Detector can supply detailed alarm, fault, and trouble information, simplifying system monitoring and maintenance. Detector utilizes network of pipes to continuously draw air samples into sensor. Dual sensing technology uses blue LED to sense smoke and IR laser to distinguish other airborne particulates. Through use of complex algorithms, detector interprets signals to warn of smoke up to 60 min prior to combustion.
