Atkins council has light agenda

The Atkins City Council went over a light agenda and discussed items relating to action taken after a consent to administrative order was issued by the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality during its regular meeting Tuesday night. Sewer Superintendent Danny Webb told the council that as a result of the CAO, employees will be taking test samples every two weeks from water going into the sewer and the overflow pond that is supposed to divert groundwater.
