Die EuroNatur-Partnerorganisation Bulgarian Biodiversity Foundation (BBF)gehört zu den Gewinnern des Natura 2000 Award 2016. Zusammen mit vier weiteren NGOs hat die Organisation ein Programm für das bulgarische Balkangebirge entwickelt, das gleichermaßen die Natur schützt und nachhaltige wirtschaftliche Perspektiven für die Lokalbevölkerung schafft.
