AAP: Work at a controversial coalmine in northern New South Wales has been stopped by protesters who say the project will destroy a forest and its sacred Aboriginal cultural and burial sites. More than 120 people have blockaded four entries at Whitehaven Coal's $767m Maules Creek project, near Boggabri, and attached themselves to 13 bulldozers.
