Australia's food and grocery industry reports year of ups and downs

Australia's food and beverage, grocery manufacturing and fresh produce industry had a total turnover of A$114bn in the 2012-13 financial year, the Australian Food and Grocery Council revealed in its latest annual state of the industry report. This represents an increase of A$3bn over last year's figures as the industry continues to maintain steady growth with its bottom line.
