A Lubbock auto dealer agreed Wednesday to settle a federal discrimination lawsuit filed by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission on behalf of a former manager who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Benny Boyd Chevrolet-Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep, which is no longer in business, will pay $250,000 in damages and back pay to Randall Hurst, a former manager at the dealership, according to a consent decree signed by U.S. District Judge Sam Cummings.
