In nominations and the final vote, we listed several points we were looking for in a Green Plant of the Year: By the way, just after our voting closed, OSI Henan Foods' plant - OSI's largest food processing facility globally - gained Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification, making it the first LEED-certified protein plant in China and one of only a few meat processing plants in the world to obtain this certification. For the fifth year, we asked you to help us honor the best recent examples of green/sustainable plants.
