Following Office of U.S. Trade Representative's (USTR) release of Special 301 Report, BIO shared concern over weak IP enforcement efforts of foreign nations. Report details failings of India, China, Brazil, and Canada, among others, to provide adequate IP protection for biotechnology companies, or their adding of bureaucratic hurdles to patentability.
