BMW boosts Q3 profit as Europe offsets slow China

BMW posted a 4.3 percent increase in third-quarter profit as strong sales in higher-margin core European markets outweighed weak demand in China. Earnings before interest and taxes increased to 2.35 billion euros , the automaker said today in a statement .
