Available with ½–2 in. port sizes, Equilibar© Back Pressure Regulator utilizes flexible diaphragm as only moving part. Body is CNC-machined from PVDF bar stock, while diaphragm is manufactured from glass matrix reinforced PTFE material. Diaphragm acts to directly seal against valve seat, eliminating need for friction-causing dynamic seals. With response time measured in milliseconds, pilot operated regulator controls media pressure on inlet port in precise 1:1 relationship to pilot pressure.
