Badger Meter Inc. reported a 13 percent increase in profits for the third quarter of 2014 on higher sales of residential municipal water products and flow management products. Brown Deer-based Badger Meter , which manufactures flow measurement systems and controls, reported net income for the quarter of $10.2 million, or 71 cents per share, compared with $9 million, or 63 cents per share, for the same period a year ago.
