Bangladesh sees largest drop in minimum wage since 2010

The largest decreases in real minimum wages over the last nine years were in the garment producing countries of Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, a new study has found, which emphasises the effects of the pandemic on wages and its disproportionate effect on women and low-paid workers.
