Zed's dead: The bronze relief is a re-casting of the original 1964 mold by Albino Manca, and still bears a typo omitting the second Z in Verrazzano's name. The borough had its own shindig for the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge, which turned 50 last month, on Dec. 3 in John J. Carty Park.
