Bayer CropScience continues with RTP expansion

As part of its initiative to invest $1 billion in the U.S. over three years, Bayer CropScience broke ground for a new greenhouse in Durham Monday. The 29,500-square-foot facility, called Greenhouse 1, will be used for research on seed traits, plant disease and insect testing, said Catharine Feuillet, head of trait research for CropScience.
