Grocery store chain Supervalu has been enjoying better sales momentum in the current fiscal year, helped by solid comparable store sales growth at its Sav-A-Lot unit. With a forward P/E multiple of roughly 15, Supervalu seems to be richly priced for its profit growth prospects and investors should probably avoid the story.
