Beach Energy appoints Matthew Kay as new chief executive

Beach Energy has appointed Oil Search executive Matthew Kay as its new chief executive as it is poised to complete its $380 million takeover of Drillsearch Energy. Kay who will take the top job by mid-July from acting chief executive Neil Gibbins, is presently executive general manager, strategy and commercial at Oil Search.
