As the "Craft" Beer market continues its rapid and unprecedented growth, an inevitable result of this growth is that the once small, beer-centric brewers have become the large, moneyed mega-brewers they abhorred when they started brewing decades ago. According to a recent Boston Globe article by Andy Crouch, Jim Koch, founder of Boston Beer Company brewed up a little controversy when he was overheard complaining in a local beer bar about the fact that not one tap was dedicated a Sam Adams product.
