Bitflux wins Nigerian 2.3GHz spectrum licence

(Telecompaper) Telecommunications firm Bitflux has emerged as the winner of the Nigerian Communications Commission's (NCC) 2.3 GHz spectrum auction, ThisDay reported. Its bid of USD 23.25 million beat Globacom's USD 23.05 million bid. The auction was a two-horse contest between Globacom and Bitflux. Both operators qualified from among nineteen operators that indicated their interest.
