I believe more pain is to be felt in the oil equity markets, because this is likely to effect BP I am in no hurry to buy more. Investors following the Baron Rothschild's advice to "buy when there's blood in the streets" may feel compelled to invest in the oil majors now, as low oil prices have certainly inflicted wounds across the industry.
