Morning Post: World leaders have agreed to limit global average temperature rises to within 2 degrees celsius. To achieve this, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change recommends a 40-70 per cent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by mid-century from 2010 levels, and decarbonisation of the global economy by the end of the century. The leaders of the G7 countries emphasised the importance of these targets at their summit in Germany last month.
