URGENT repairs to two of Weymouth's harbour walls are to start immediately after councillors were told they are in such poor condition that work cannot wait. Weymouth and Portland Borough Council 's management committee agreed to a 1.9m bailout as councillors said that if nothing is done, Walls C and D could collapse, leading not only to embarrassment to the council, but also serious injury and even death.
