Supporting video surveillance and other physical security applications in electric utility transmission and distribution (T&D) substations, outdoor-duty Tropos 6420 offers 300 Mbps wireless data rate at 2.4 and 5 GHz, wired Gigabit Ethernet support, and access to 653 MHz RF spectrum. Mesh routing and radio resource management capabilities further enhance functionality. Along with 802.11a/b/g/n, router offers serial interfaces with DNP3, Modbus, Modbus, and raw serial support.
