IXXAT repeaters, which enable coupling of 2 or more CAN network segments, let machine builders and system integrators use extended CAN topologies and come in several variants for copper and fiber-optic wiring. Along with integrated galvanic isolation, features include anti-noise circuit that eliminates effects of EMI. Built-in CAN bus choke provides protection against signal peaks, and CAN lines are protected among each other and against power supply up to 4 kV depending on type of repeater.
