CIBC raises dividend as profit beats

Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, Canada's fifth-largest lender by assets, increased its dividend on Thursday and reported a fiscal fourth-quarter profit that topped expectations. Toronto-based CIBC is the latest major bank to report results this earnings season that trumped analyst forecasts.
