CLT airport lands new Southwest flight to Dallas

Come August, Southwest Airlines will add daily, nonstop service between Charlotte Douglas International Airport and Dallas Love Field. Introductory one-way fares will start at $89, valid for tickets purchased by March 1 for travel by Oct. 28. "With the end of the Wright Amendment and our sublease of two additional Love Field gates, Southwest is thrilled to offer Customers more Dallas flights and nonstop service to 50 destinations," Gary Kelly , Southwest Airlines' chairman, president and CEO, said in a news release.
