CNU hosting food drive Friday

Christopher Newport University's final Food for Though campaign on Friday at Trible Plaza has received a notable pledge from Smithfield Foods, an official said. The food company has pledged 10,000 pounds of protein toward CNU's effort to collect food and money for the Foodbank of the Virginia Peninsula's "Helping Hungry Homes" program, said Lori Jacob, Director of Media Relations Lori Jacob.
