CSX reported earnings of 49 cents a share for the fourth quarter, in line with analysts' expectations for the quarter. The company recorded revenue of $3.2 billion for the fourth quarter, a 5.6% increase from the year-ago quarter, compared to analysts' estimates of $3.18 billion.
