Cambridge biotech buys Pfizer assets and relaunches as Icagen

A 12-year-old Cambridge biotech that changed its name last year from Caldera Pharmaceuticals to XRpro Sciences relaunched this morning with a third name - one that harkens back to a North Carolina biotech acquired by Pfizer a few years back. Icagen partners with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to offer scientific expertise and access to technologies for ion channel and transporter drug discovery and development.
