San Francisco Chronicle: A Superior Court judge has rejected a business groups attempt to scuttle a key element of Californias cap and trade system for reining in greenhouse gasses.
Judge Timothy Frawley of the Superior Court of California for the County of Sacramento has denied a petition to invalidate the states sale of allowances -- essentially, permits that allow companies to emit carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gasses. The decision, dated Tuesday, was made public Thursday.
