With the expected completion next year of a four-lane road linking San Clemente with San Juan Capistrano, the Capistrano Unified School District plans to spend $45 million to upgrade three high schools. "Avenida La Pata is expected to be completed in the fall 2016, which will offer a north-south connection between San Clemente and San Juan Capistrano that will impact San Juan Hills High School, as well as San Clemente High School," the district said in a news release.
