Carlstadt's Jinpan being acquired by British Virgin Islands-based firm

Jinpan International Limited, a Chinese company with its U.S. offices in Carlstadt, said Monday it agreed to be acquired by a British Virgin Islands-based firm. Jinpan, a maker of cast resin transformers, will be bought by FNOF E&M Invested Limited, which will then merge Jinpan with its wholly-owned subsidiary Silkwings Limited.
