(Telecompaper) Malaysian mobile operator Celcom has entered into a master collaboration agreement with Altel Communications to develop, build, operate, and manage shared infrastructure for communications services. Altel is a subsidiary of Puncak Semangat. Under the agreement, Celcom and Altel will pool their 2x10 MHz blocks of LTE 2600 MHz spectrum, and Altel may share some of its 2x20 MHz spectrum blocks as well. Furthermore, the two companies have agreed to the general terms under which Altel will operate as a MVNO on Celcom's mobile network. A final agreement is yet to be negotiated.
